Prose – Old Books

The Honor Girl by Grace Livingston Hill

In time of stress, or on a rainy day that needs a bit of cheer, I tend to go back to books I have read over and over again. So often these are books that my grandmother read and loved. The stories are from a different age, full of different attitudes most of us find quaint. As I touch the cover, and read the stories within, I find comfort and connection with the past.
