Photographs – Buckeye Butterfly

 

This weekend we visited the Delaware Bay. The air was loaded with butterflies of all types, Buckeyes, Monarchs, Cabbage Whites, Unknown Yellows and small variegated varieties. I am amazed at the detail on these butterflies…especially the Buckeye pictured above.  All the butterflies were feasting on the last of the goldenrod flowers.
