The Sun Today
I made sure to take a walk today. I live on the East Coast and a Nor’easter with possible snow showers is forecast for my area tomorrow. Snow in October? A White Halloween? It sounds like lunacy until you take into account that New Jersey’s normal benign weather patterns have seemed to shift this year. We have experienced the extremes of earthquake, major blizzards, devastating floods, and a hurricane. I am expecting to see a few snowflakes this weekend. It will fit perfectly into the weather patterns of 2011.
In my opinion, one of the joys of the sun has always been shadow and silhouette. I love the pictures the sun’s rays paint upon this earth. I took this interesting picture this morning of my coleus plants silhouetted against a doorway.
Morning Silhouette
Until next time…Adieu.
