Wet Canvas is a terrific watercolor site. The link to Wet Canvas and their Reference Image Library can be found on the top right corner of this blog. I took part in the Watercolor Studio November Challenge. For November the subject was Emerald Lake. Since I usually paint florals this was quite a stretch for me. I really enjoyed it, although there were moments of frustration also as I tried to adapt my floral techniques to a new subject. I am pleased with the final painting. I hope to take part in all the WetCanvas challenges throughout the coming year.
