Plants and Projects – Grape Hyacinth

Forcing Grape Hyacinth Bulbs Indoors has been something I have thought of doing in the past, but until this week had not tried.  I used regular potting soil in a squared off pot, and added the bulbs, barely covering them with dirt, and leaving their growing tips exposed. I covered them with a plastic bag and put them in the far back corner of my fridge. Hopefully in ten weeks…early to mid-March…I will have beautiful grape hyacinths blooming.
