There are times when life resembles a game of 52 Pick Up. All of our cards (hopes, dreams and goals) are scattered and left in disarray. I have noticed that when this happens those who seek God out in such a time are often comforted by this verse:
“ ’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
