Pleasures & Plants – Fragrance

The first of my forced hyacinth bulbs has bloomed. The fragrance is soft and fills my heart with hope for Spring. The color is a brilliant hot pink. Another of my hyacinths is beginning to show color, this one appears to be developing a softer pink hue.

The grape hyacinths are also blooming, though I’m a little disappointed; the foliage is sensational and full, but there are only a few blooms.

Unruly foliage tip: Tie up with a ribbon!
